Blog 15 Term 3 2018

Dear Parents/Carers and Community Members

2019 Principal Update

I wish to inform the community that Nicole Hanna will not be returning to Marangaroo Primary School, as she has won the Principal position at John Butler Primary College. Congratulations to Ms Hanna and I wish her all the best.

I have been asked to remain as Principal for the duration of Term 1, 2019. During this time, a selection process will occur to appoint a permanent Principal.

2019 Class Lists

The class lists will be on the notice board outside the front office at 3.00pm today.

Student Reports

A reminder that students will be given their report to take home today.

Reward Disco

This is occurring for all students from 2.00pm on the last day of school – this Thursday. Students will return to their classroom at 2.55pm to collect their school bag and necessary items. Thank you to Mr MacIntyre and his volunteers for organising and securing the DJ at a very reduced rate.

Canteen Manager Position

On behalf of the P&C, I extend my congratulations to Ms Lynda Barrow who has won the position of Canteen Manager starting in 2019. Lynda, you have big shoes to fill and I look forward to working with you. I would like to thank Ms Pauline Henden who has been working as the Canteen Manager since the retirement of Mrs Souris. Thank you for stepping in as caretaker manager and keeping us all well fed during fourth term.

It’s been wonderful to be a part of the Marangaroo community and I look forward to meeting more of you next year.

I wish all students and families a safe and festive holiday break. Please remember school starts back for students on Monday 4 February.

Kind regards,
